The spooky season is here and we’re excited to celebrate along with our Alamogordo neighbors. There is no shortage of Halloween-themed fun to be had in town this year, so Casa Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram decided to share some of the things that our staff is excited about! From hay rides to haunted houses there is a little something for everyone in the family. Scare Mart Haunted House
The annual Scare Mart Haunted House returns this year with another slate of fearful fun. Get into the Halloween spirit early as Scare Mart will be open starting the weekend of October 1st and every weekend leading up to Halloween. 6-7 pm is kids’ hour, so you can enjoy the event with younger members of the family. There’s more than just the haunted house to enjoy, as the event features scary movies, food trucks, and music! You can save on admission by bringing a canned good donation that supports local charities.
Halloween at The Kiva 2022
This Alamogordo tradition returns for its 35th year! Celebrate the season with a headbanging live concert featuring Jebadiah’s Mistake. Other acts in attendance include Burning Sunday, Aggressor, and more! The event includes a bonfire and costumes are very encouraged. The theme this year is “The Creature from La Luz Creek!” Halloween at The Kiva happens on October 22nd, 2022, in La Luz, just a short trip north of Alamogordo.
Tularosa Trunk or Treat
Take a slightly longer trip north to Tularosa on October 29th to enjoy the Tularosa Trunk or Treat celebration. This family-friendly event kicks off at 5 and lasts until 8 pm. It includes lots of great activities for the whole family. You’ll find live music, kids’ games, a haunted maze, and, of course, costume contests and trick or treating. You won’t have to fill up (completely) on candy because food trucks will be on site.
