Waffle & Pancake Shoppe
It’s breakfast and lunch in a classic diner atmosphere at the Waffle & Pancake Shoppe. Be sure to bring the family and a big appetite. It’s a great place to get the first two meals of the day with the family, with a great selection of exactly what’s on the sign as well as breakfast burritos, sausage and biscuits, and all the traditional breakfast fare. If you’re really hungry, George’s 22nd Century Big Omelet will fill you up, and if you like your breakfast spicy, the “Burn The Town” hashbrowns have the jalapenos you’ll love. For lunch, there’s a great selection of burgers, sandwiches, and the ½ lb Chicken Fried Steak.
Alamo Pancake & Steakhouse Grill
Can’t decide between breakfast and dinner? Don’t at Alamo Pancake & Steakhouse Grill. Yes, you’ll find something for almost any craving here, from large stacks of pancakes to classic Mexican entrees, to juicy steaks. The appetizers alone offer nachos, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, chile con queso, and more! We love the sizzling hot fajitas or the Green Chile Cheesburger. The steak menu includes ribeye and top sirloin, and there’s seafood options like grilled catfish too. There are so many options, we haven’t found a favorite yet.
Dave’s Cafe
Should you find yourself visiting Cloudcroft, check out Dave’s Cafe. The whole family will enjoy the atmosphere and the menu, which offers lots of options for even the youngest and pickiest eaters. There’s kids’ menu that offers burgers, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, quesadillas, and even a classic PB+J on white! The parents will enjoy larger helpings of most of these options (except the PB+J) as well as some great Mexican options, wings, patty melts, and some nice salads if those calories are adding up. Belly up to the bar for a Roy Rogers or something slightly stiffer if you’re not the designated Jeep driver.
