What's New for 2027 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram Models
The 2027 model year brings real changes across all four brands. Jeep adds Grand Cherokee trims and a hybrid Cherokee, Ram brings back the TRX and adds the Rumble Bee muscle trucks, Dodge keeps its V8 and SIXPACK performance lineup going, and Chrysler refreshes the Pacifica. Here is what's changing, and how to see it in Alamogordo.
Everything below comes from Stellantis announcements as of October 30, 2026, with a few details from dealer and trade summaries. Not every 2027 model arrives at the same time. What's new for Jeep?
- Wrangler: Jeep lists three engines for 2027: a 2.0L turbo four (270 hp), a 3.6L V6 (285 hp) and the 6.4L HEMI V8 (470 hp). The Sport, Sport S and Willys get a standard 7-inch digital cluster, and the Rubicon gains standard heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and embedded navigation. The Wrangler Switchback completes Jeep's Twelve 4 Twelve series, and new colors arrive with late availability.
- Gladiator: the Sahara comes standard with a vented power dome hood and side steps. An available 20-inch premium wheel package adds all-terrain tires, heavy-duty Dana 44 axles and a Trac-Lok limited-slip rear differential, and a limited Gladiator 35-inch Tire Launch Edition brings that popular upgrade from the factory.
- Grand Cherokee: three trims join the lineup, the Trailhawk, the Overland and the new Laredo Upland, which adds Trailhawk-inspired looks and all-terrain tires at a value. The Laredo and Laredo X get a 10.1-inch touchscreen as standard, and there are new wheels and colors. Jeep says it arrives at dealers in late 2026.
- Cherokee: the 2027 model features a 1.6L inline-four turbo hybrid rated up to an estimated 37 mpg combined (39 city) and more than 500 miles per tank, which Jeep calls its most fuel-efficient model without a plug. A Cherokee Trailhawk joins the lineup.
- Compass: the Compass marks its 20th anniversary for 2027 and continues to offer the Trail Rated Compass Trailhawk.
Features vary by trim and arrive at different times. Fuel economy figures are Jeep's estimates.
What's new for Ram?
- Ram 1500: the 1500 TRX SRT is back with 777 horsepower and began shipping to customers in July 2026. The new Rumble Bee lineup of muscle trucks adds a Rumble Bee with the 5.7L HEMI V8, a Rumble Bee 392 and a Rumble Bee SRT. The RHO gains an available Popular Equipment Group with a 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 screen and Harman Kardon audio, and the Warlock adds a new V6 eTorque entry to Ram's off-road family.
- Ram 2500 Power Wagon: it is available for the first time with the 6.7L Cummins High-Output turbo-diesel inline-six.
- ProMaster and ProMaster City: Ram has announced the all-new 2027 ProMaster City van, a smaller work van that rejoins the lineup.

What's new for Dodge?
- Charger: the lineup pairs the gas SIXPACK models, including the 420-horsepower R/T and 550-horsepower Scat Pack, with the all-electric Charger Daytona. For Mopar's 90th anniversary in 2027, Dodge and Mopar have introduced the limited-edition Mopar '27 Charger package.
- Durango: new colors arrive, including After Dark, a deep metallic blue, and Redeye, which was previously reserved for the Charger. The three-row SUV keeps its HEMI V8 lineup, up to the 710-horsepower SRT Hellcat.

What's new for Chrysler?
- Pacifica: the 2027 minivan gets a new front end with vertical LED headlamps, an illuminated grille and a new Chrysler wing badge. The lineup becomes four trims: LX (the new name for the Voyager), Select, Limited and Pinnacle. All-wheel drive is available on Select and above, and the Pinnacle adds a Blue Agave Nappa leather interior.
- No plug-in hybrid. Dealer and trade summaries say the 2027 Pacifica is gas-only, with a 287-horsepower 3.6L V6. If you want the plug-in hybrid, ask us about pre-owned models.
What changed or went away?
- The Voyager name: retired for 2027. The entry minivan is now the Pacifica LX.
- The Pacifica plug-in hybrid: not offered for 2027.
- Names to watch: the Wrangler Twelve 4 Twelve editions end with the Switchback, and the Wrangler, Gladiator and Grand Cherokee all add or reshuffle trims. Ask us which trim has the features you want.
